Ice Skating and Such
Tuesday was our last day of ice skating lessons and we have to say that the Dragons and Vikings have all improved over the past six weeks. We had a great time and had wonderful instructors who made the lessons a lot of fun!
We had our Valentine's celebration on Monday. Everyone was really excited to open their Valentines and it was sweet to watch the students thank one another.
A few reminders;
There will be no school on Monday the 21st--staff inservice day, and this month's maintenance day is on Saturday the 19th from 9-1:00.
Science Fair: The science fair is sneaking up on us and is only three weeks away. As some of you may know science boards are available in the office area. Make sure your child picks one up and to cross their name off when they do.

Computer Skills
Hello Parents!
Your students have been practicing their typing skills with their alpha smarts and they have been able to play games on a few websites that Ms Benvenuto and I have personally gone through and checked out. Just in case you want your kids to practice on the computers at home I am posting the websites along with some information about the games.
www.portaportal.com
put in the guest access the password: chiefjo10
We allow the students to go through the sections math, reading groups, and reading. The other sections are for you to explore at home, but we do not at school.
www.coolmath4kids.com
This is another website we go on and there are many different games to explore from math games and puzzles to problem solvers.
You may want to stay close because the kids tend to click on the advertisements. :(
